I loved seeing my family this weekend, for an engagement party, but I feel like I didn't get a weekend. I left Saturday morning at 11, drove 4 hours, went to the party, went to bed, got up and had brunch with the family Sunday, drove 4 hours, got home at 5. No weekend.

I want to go home now.

No kidding. Though I did get to show off wedding pictures, which was very gratifying. And 2 of my cousins were really interested, as they're both engaged (there's a 3rd engaged cousin, but he wasn't at the party). 2006 is gonna be big in my family.
