Not to discount your friend's experience, but I'm pretty sure this was a faint, not a seizure. My vision went black, but there was no aura (I get them from migraines, so I know what you mean). And as I said, I asked a doctor about the exact same thing the first time it occured, and she didn't seem concerned.
