If anyone here uses Gmail, and Firefox, I made a nice little tweak:

Gmail 2 fixed navigation

It makes the mailbox and labels list never scroll off the screen - very useful. If you have Stylish installed, it's written as a style. If you have Greasmonkey installed, you can also install it as a script.

I don't usually bother to post these little things I make, other than on the Geek page, but this one struck me as really nice to have, and with a pretty wide potential audience.

You know, I just noticed that you friended me, and finally got a chance to take a look at your page and realize that we live in the same town.

I'm a homebody, but maybe I'll try to drop by Slave to the Grind sometime after work. How often are you there?

Darned near every night. I get off of work at 6 Tuesday through Thursday, but other than that my husband and I are there almost every day. Since I'm off on Mondays and Fridays, I'm there earlier.

We're the "regulars" of Slave. Our names are on the tree in the back and everything :-)

Where in Bville do you live? We're Bronxville PO on Bronx River Road, but I grew up a mile from town proper.

We're over in Chester Heights, right on the Mt Vernon line. You can see our place from the Cross County, actually.

I must pass by you all the time - I work in Woodlawn - at the library, actually.

Ok, so my parents live just off of New Rochelle road, up the hill and to the right of the Cross county, and I go to J&G whenever I can for sandwiches.

My best friend lives in Woodlawn. Technically. She's on Digney, off of Neried.

And yeah, we live just past the 7-11 on Bronx River Rd. By the Oak Street exit from the Bronx river. I take the hutch to work, so I must pass your house every day when I'm jumping on the cross county to get to the hutch north.

I don't think I've actually been to that library. How is it working there?

The library's just over the Yonkers line in the Bronx, on Katonah and 239th. It's a pretty tiny one (2nd smallest in NYPL), but the neighborhood is great. I love it. It's a little insane between 3 and 6, before the kids go home for dinner, but still fun.

Yep, you definitely pass by my place every day. Just glance to your right after you pass the New Rochelle Rd. exit. You'll see a condo complex, 2 stories. We're in there. It's on that road with the firehouse.
