I tried another yoga class, which was still not what I wanted. What I want is one that emphasizes the physical, not the mental. Lots of stretching and balancing poses (good for muscles). Shoulder stands - those are awesome.

I took a perfect one once, at the the gym near me. But, I no longer belong, and they only had yoga at 10 am on weekdays anyways (who schedules these things? don't they know anyone who works?). I'm going to keep trying at the yoga place, and hope that one of the instructors tends toward what I want.

I still think it's the exercise option i'm most likely to keep going with.

Take a look at this book: The Core Program: Fifteen Minutes a Day That Can Change Your Life (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0553380842/104-2475567-6939957). I received it the other day and what I've seen in it has been very good. It incorporates moves/stretches from various methodologies, including yoga, and may be what you're looking for.

I also bought Stretch and Strengthen (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0395528089/104-2475567-6939957) which seems to be the stretching bible! Just about anything you'd want to stretch is covered in this book.

I can understand that! It's much easier for me to get motivated when there are other people involved.
